Lugoj, August 4, 2024 – And that makes four! What a great day for Team corratec – Vini Fantini as Kyrylo Tsarenko triumphs at the Cupa Max Ausnit.

The race, covering a challenging 155 km route with start and finish in Lugoj, saw the Ukrainian rider masterfully manage his energy and stay in the lead group despite the high pace of the race and numerous attack attempts, finally winning the sprint to secure his second victory of the season.

An excellent performance also by Alexandre Balmer, who achieved a solid 6th place despite the significant work he did to help Tsarenko achieve this excellent result.

“I am delighted with today’s result – Kyrylo Tsarenko declared immediately after the finish – We knew I could do well. The course suited my characteristics perfectly, and coming from a very good period of form, I was confident in my chances of victory. I tried to conserve energy, knowing that in the final circuit the pace would increase considerably. Despite this, I held on, managed to stay with the group of the best and in the final kilometres, I gained an advantageous position that allowed me to take this beautiful success.”
