The Italian rider came behind local rider Zak Erzen

Jakub Mareczko came close to victory in the Gp Adria Mobil, the race that closed the first part of the season for Team corratec – Vini Fantini. After launching his sprint, Kuba was overtaken near the finish line by Slovenian Zak Erzen. For the team led by Marco Zamparella it was the sixth podium finish of the season, the third achieved by Mareczko.
